Restaurants worth a visit – and why they work

We cover the Potrefená husa restaurant chain and its concept: what's on the plate, which beer is on tap, where to find each location and what makes them different.

What is Potrefená husa

Potrefená husa (literally “The Wounded Goose”) is a restaurant chain associated with Staropramen beers. The first restaurant with this unusual name opened in 1999 in Prague's Vinohrady district, and over the following years the chain grew to around thirty venues in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The concept combines Czech and international cuisine, a wide range of Staropramen beers and a modern, relaxed setting.
